This limited-time special access bus operates on 12 days on weekends and public holidays from late September to mid-October 2026.
Mt. Kurikoma, one of Japan’s "200 Famous Mountains," is renowned for its breathtaking autumn foliage, and  it's often called “the Carpet of the Gods.”

Mt. Kurikoma

Located near the center of the Tohoku region, Mt. Kurikoma offers spectacular views on clear days, you can see all the way to the Pacific Ocean. Designated as a Quasi-National Park, its foothills are home to around 150 species of alpine plants, creating breathtaking flower fields during the blooming season.
From mid-September to mid-October, the mountains are ablaze with autumn colors. The sweeping panoramic view from the summit is truly unforgettable.



Heilsam Kurikoma 

Situated just before Iwakagami-daira at 650 m, Heilsam Kurikoma offers natural hot springs and a dining area amidst stunning mountain scenery. Relax in the therapeutic baths, enjoy seasonal views, and savor local cuisine in this serene retreat.

Important Notice
・Advance reservations are required. However, if there are available seats, you may board without a reservation on the day of departure.
・The bus will depart at the scheduled time, so please arrive at the boarding area at least 10 minutes prior to departure.
・Seat belts must be worn while the bus is in motion.
・Luggage space in the trunk is limited. Large items may not be accepted. Please use a courier service in advance for oversized luggage. When using the trunk, passengers are responsible for loading and unloading their own baggage.
・We are not liable for any damage, loss, or theft of personal belongings.
・Departure and arrival times may change due to road conditions or other unavoidable circumstances.
・In the event of delays caused by traffic, weather, disasters, or other unavoidable circumstances, we are not responsible for any additional expenses such as taxi fares or accommodation if you are late arriving at your destination.
・During the peak autumn foliage season, heavy traffic may cause delays. Please be aware of this in advance.
・In case of natural disasters such as typhoons or earthquakes, services may be suspended.
